Aquilón CyL S.L. is a Spherium Biomed spin-out that develops intellectual property for the veterinary field. Aquilón Cyl SL is a technology-based project management company created in March 2012 from technologies developed at the University of León (ULe) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). The initiative arose from the interaction between the area of Infectious Diseases of the Faculty of Veterinary of the ULe and the current Spherium Biomed (licensee of the technology of the UAB), and that became reality thanks to the decided financial support of the Seguranza Technology Fund promoted by the Government of Castilla y León and managed by the Clave Mayor. To date, Aquilón has a stable and multidisciplinary team, supported by specialists in animal health and production, regulatory affairs, marketing, administrative, commercial, industrial and financial.
