Currently there is significant downward pressure on drug development resources. In the case of large Pharma the so called “patent cliff” has hit hard leaving no company unaffected. This leads to dramatic R+D budget cuts. For Biotech there is a chronic lack of external funding available. The SFJ Pharmaceuticals Group ® mission is to enable these companies to continue to develop their most important drug candidates without increasing the burden on their P&L or cash reserves. SFJ will take 100% of the clinical and regulatory risk.
