Gênica was born from the proposal of Brazilian researchers and investors, who found in technological innovation and in the use of biotechnology a more efficient and more sustainable alternative for agriculture and livestock. Headquartered at the Technological Park of Piracicaba, the company focuses on research and development of new tools for production management. It also has a production unit in addition to Experimental Unit Fazão Areão USP in partnership with ESALQTec which includes laboratories and a greenhouse for the development of new products.
