Chrysalis BioTherapeutics was incorporated in Delaware in 2012 to develop innovative peptide therapeutics to save lives and improve life’s quality. Chrysalis’ lead drug candidate, TP508, was initially developed to accelerate healing of dermal and musculoskeletal injuries. It proved to be especially effective in promoting healing of diabetic foot ulcers in early human clinical trials and is under development as a treatment for mass casualty injuries and burns. Chrysalis has demonstrated that TP508 mitigates effects of radiation exposure. Chrysalis is therefore collaborating with US government agencies to develop TP508 as a nuclear countermeasure to combat acute and delayed radiation syndromes.
