Amynova Polymers is a fundamental developments for the process and investigated the application of raw materials of different strengths at the Technology and Start-up Center Bitterfeld-Wolfen. KfW helped set up a small-scale plant and successfully implemented a first scale-up of production technology. The first customers could be acquired with sample deliveries and in 2007 and 2008 this plant was utilized. The product has several main application areas. In the agricultural industry, active ingredients in spraying and fertilizers can be used more efficiently by the additive and in the paper and cardboard industry, functional layers can be created for barrier formation for the fat and aroma resistance. Further areas of application are opening up from the adhesives industry to the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries and are being gradually expanded.
